திருமூலரின் மூச்சுப்பயிற்சி

திருமூலரின் மூச்சுப்பயிற்சி
"Proud of Siddha Breathing Exercise"
வாசிப்பயிற்சி என்ற வாசியோகம்
The word VASI derived from Tamil word VAASAM related with sense of nose.
It is a method of breath control, in which 1 unit of air is inhaled, 4 units of air is kept retention and 2 units of air is exhaled.
It is a method of excretion of excess unutilized air in the body, through lungs. Various movements like osmosis and diffusion are taken place during breathing exercise to assimilate 100% oxygen. It helps to bring adaptagenic activity for the living cells and increases their life expectancy.
Inspiration occupies 12 inches volume of the lung.
Retention occupies 48 inches volume of the lung.
Expiration occupies 24 inches volume of the lung.
Amazing Siddhar science of longivity. Hatsoff to SAINT THIRUMOOLAR👏👏.
Generally we exhale double what we inhale by Thirumoolar breathing exercise. So the gaseous and volatile toxins in the blood received by food and medicine are also removed through lung when we practice "mootchu payirchi'.
Science made easy:
For inspiration we need mild pressure on the nostril, so one finger (Thumb) is uesd.
For expiration moderate pressure is required, so two fingers used (Little finger and Ring finger).
But in retention we need (more and more) severe pressure, so three fingers (Thumb, Little finger and Ring finger) are used.
Amazing science behind the method👍
